Needle points

Stunning and strange. I've always been interested in the power of old photographs and typically "female" arts (textile crafts, etc.), and I have a special weakness for sewn paper. I saw these images from Mauizio Anzeri and had to post them here. They are surprisingly powerful and personal.

There are the vintage photo versions, and then these much more modern, high-fashion ones. The embroidery references piercings and body modification.
