Brass Band

Azadeh Shladovsky is an LA-based designer ready to launch her premier furniture line. No idea how “green” this is, but the mix of rustic wood and super shiny metal is lovely, and could easily be translated to greener designs. Just step back and admire the way those thin brass lines pop against the dark wood. We’ll file this one under “inspiration.”

Cool Hand Luke

 

I've posted about insulator lamps before, but these have a charming, handmade quality to them. As you would expect, Luke of Luke Lamp Co. salvages cool oddities (not just insulators) and parts and turns them into funky, industrial lighting.

I'm especially digging the moody photographs.
